Se lo scorso anno non si aspettava altro che la data dell’uscita di Michael, primo album postumo di Michael Jackson, che a una settimana dalla pubblicazione ha già venduto 3 milioni di copie, quest’anno sono pochi I grandi del pop presenti nella classifica dei dischi più attesi del 2011.
La fonte, Stereogum, autorevole sito web punto di riferimento musicale negli Stati Uniti, si occupa, prettamente, di musica indie (mettendo a disposizione anche diversi file mp3 in formato gratuito a scopo promozionale), ma nei primi 50 nomi troviamo anche Lady Gaga.
Il suo Born this way, atteso per la seconda metà del nuovo anno, è al 21/mo posto dei dischi più attesi. Anche il ritorno dei Foo Fighters, al 15/mo posto, sta creando notevoli attese, soprattutto in seguito all’indiscrezione di un possibile ritorno al periodo Nirvana.
