I Foo Fighters hanno presentato un nuovo brano tratto dall’album Wasting Light, in uscita nel mese di aprile.
Il gruppo ha scelto Rope come primo singolo per dare ai fans un’anteprima dei loro nuovi inediti e la canzone sarà in vendita dal 1 marzo online, chi ha pre-ordinato Wasting Light la riceverà in omaggio in attesa del 12 aprile, data in cui verrà pubblicato l’album.
I Foo Fighters hanno registrato i nuovi brani senza utilizzare le tecnologie digitali e su nastro in modo da ottenere un suono più puro e dare un’atmosfera rock energica e ricercata e li hanno affidato al produttore Butch Vig.
Solo una decina di giorni fa aveva debuttato il video di White Limo realizzato in pieno stile anni ottanta e rivelato la tracklist dell’album Wasting Light:

Wasting Light sarà il primo album di inediti dal 2007, anno in cui venne pubblicato Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, e i fans italiani potranno ascoltare le nuove canzoni dal vivo il 15 giugno sul palco del Rock in IdRho.
